Code G2211: Documenting and Billing for E/M Complexity with Confidence by Chris Wolfe, O.D.
G2211 is a new HCPCS add-on code that compensates physicians for the cognitive effort, care coordination, and longitudinal relationship-building inherent in many E/M visits. This course provides a step-by-step approach to determining when the code applies, how to document accurately, and how to ensure compliance while maximizing appropriate reimbursement. Through case-based scenarios and current CMS guidance, optometrists will gain confidence applying this code to complex and chronic ocular care.
